You Low Poly

In the collection Monsters

A blend of a face and it's low-polygon self.

This is loosely inspired by films like Silent Hill or Pan's Labyrinth, where some creatures have no eyes, but this is a digital-take.

How it works:

  1. Take 1 photos using the button above. Either upload it, drag and drop it, or use your webcam. Make any face you like. A screaming face is good, but a smile can be just as scary.
  2. Wait a couple minutes, it takes a while to generate the models.
  3. Once it's ready, you can move the limit between the high resolution model and it's low-polygon version by:
    • dragging the arrow.
    • rotating the 2 circles, which change the direction.
    • change the resolution, which will give tiny or large triangles.
  4. If you see a result you like, click download, and you'll get a 3MF file you can print.

Printing advice:

Chances are this print will require that you add supports, for areas under the chin/teeth/nose. The bigger the model, the larger the supports needed, but also the less visible layer lines can be.

Don't hesitate sending photos!
